November 27th Grooming Report
Time Trials!
As part of Coach Will’s week long “Westbank Camp” to take the place of the traditional journey to West Yellowstone which was not possible this year due to the pandemic, he has called for time trials today. The teams have been working hard with twice a day practices throughout the holiday week and today and tomorrow time trials will be the finale of the week of hard work.
Today’s time trials will be on the red line on the map above and are of classic technique. While the course will be fully occupied beginning about 8:30, within a couple of hours you are more than welcome to come give it a shot yourself. You will find double classic tracks throughout the course.
In order to accommodate today’s time trials, grooming was conducted yesterday evening. In addition to the time trial course, some drifted classic tracks in the close field were reset along with about half of the skate lanes being reset by the Pisten Bully as well. Several reports were received yesterday of great skiing which should continue today.
More time trials are on call for tomorrow, grooming might again occur in the evening depending on weather conditions.
Groomer’s choice for today would be to give the time trial course a few laps.
