November 26th Grooming Report
Happy Thanksgiving!
Even in the midst of a pandemic, we still need to remember that we have so many things to be thankful for. Family, friends, a warm home, the list can go on and on. Here at Trail Creek on many Thanksgivings we have not even been on snow by Thanksgiving Day, so we are very thankful for the nearly two weeks we have been skiing already, not to mention all the people that work so hard to make a local Nordic ski area a reality; thanks to all those that contribute!
Overnight we got around an inch of pretty light snow, but it was enough to bring out the Pisten Bully for some extensive grooming. All recently groomed trails received at least one pass, the close field, Armin’s, Animal Farm, and Moose Loop received double passes with fresh classic tracks. We also added one additional loop of trail to the agenda in the Black Hole area.
A bit of effort was also invested in covering the road and cable trenching crossings of late. While not quite perfect, you should hopefully be able to cross without too much difficulty. All in all things look quite nice today and you should be able to work off that Thanksgiving dinner in style.
Groomer’s choice for today is a long tour of Trail Creek.
