November 24th Grooming Report
Some Pisten Bully Action!
Even though no significant snow has fallen, Coach Will really wanted some classic tracks in the Armin’s/Moose Loop area so the Pisten Bully carefully ventured out today, making rounds on most trails. Currently there are some reasonable classic tracks in the close field in addition to the ones set today on Armin’s and Moose Loop. Most other trails received best line Pisten Bully skate grooming and should ski quite nicely.
As long as the Bully was out some time was taken to recover the soggy parts near Beaver Ponds that had frozen during the recent cold weather so that trail will ski much more nicely. In addition an up and back was groomed on Cle's Climb today.
If you’re lucky enough to make it out for a Nordic ski today, some things to keep your eyes peeled for include a couple of bull moose that recently showed up, a mysterious raptor that is probably working on the abundant squirrel population, and some radiant berries (mountain ash?) in the Upper Homesite area.
Groomer’s choice for today is Armin’s/Moose Loop.
