March 7th Grooming Report
Loving the Sunshine!
A group of high school girls were having a great time making their own trails across the East Fields yesterday afternoon, today yet another warm sunny day is in store. While early morning conditions are a bit on the icy side, another skier from yesterday reported great skiing around 10 AM and the teams had no complaints later in the afternoon, even if conditions did get a bit slushy.
Speaking of teams, the 10 athletes headed to the national championship at Donner Pass in California are now there, checking it out. Racing begins tomorrow with live streams available here and results available here.
Today’s grooming once again happened last night with the Ginzu groomer and with pretty good results. All major classic tracks were reset as well as skate lanes receiving multiple passes as well. Much great skiing remains, just keep an eye on the thermometer to get just what you want, remembering that shade warms more slowly than sunshine.
Snow returns tonight, look for the next grooming Sunday morning.
Groomer’s choice for today is Armin’s.
