February 14th Grooming Report
Back to Normal, Back to Busy!
While the big race is behind us, things are still running at top speed at Trail Creek with lots of skiers of all ages scheduled to be on the snow throughout the week. The school winter sports mid-day programs have ended, but we still have about a month for most JHSC programs to continue to run and have fun.
If you’re looking for some fun today, you could surely find it on a great Nordic ski at Trail Creek today. The Husky has been hard at work, buffing out pretty much every trail. The focus in the woods was ensuring plenty of width for skaters today as yesterday’s classic tracks are still quite nice. Homeward and Outward Bound did receive double passes. The fields were also totally reworked with fresh classic tracks and skate lanes on almost all trails. Conditions today were such that the snow worked up quite nicely.
Snow chances have bumped up a bit for tomorrow with amounts now predicted to be between 2 and 3 inches. Thanks to Coach Luna for a couple of great images from the recent race!
