January 22nd Grooming Report
Another Busy Week!
Lollipoppers, Teewinots, Devos, Juniors, Ositos, Prep/Comp, Masters, and perhaps even you will be cruising the trails of Trail Creek this week. Even with many skiers off to Soldier Hollow for the second Junior National Qualifier later in the week, our trails will be on the busy side. Never to fear, we have lots of trails and enough snow so there should be plenty of skiing for all.
Today those trails have been groomed by our hard working Husky. The abnormally warm January temps are making today feel a bit like March and did result in some slightly crunchy conditions this morning, but things did groom up nicely all in all.
Most woods trails received a single skate/classic pass, the fields mostly received both double classic track and skate passes and Moose Loop received double Husky passes today. Some of the earlier grooming did result in some grouser tracks showing through, but all in all you’ll find some nice 39.4º F (as of report time) skiing today. Do keep in mind that things will be very busy after school today.
Groomer’s choice for today is Moose Loop.
