March 28th Grooming Report
Course Inspection Day!
The teams are already pouring in, checking out what’s in store for them in the days ahead as we host the International Spring Series races here at Trail Creek. The public is still welcome on the course today; it would be an awesome chance to ski next to some of the fastest skiers out there if you can work a Nordic ski into your schedule today!
Today’s grooming began last night with the Husky making multiple passes on all of the race courses which can be viewed on the event website. Grooming then picked up again this morning with Moose Loop, Armin’s, Animal Farm, and Homeward Bound receiving multiple passes. The Gill Huff Loop and Faceplant/Cle’s are done for the year, Woolsey Woods is blocked by the course so did not receive grooming today. The rest of the woods trails however did get attention and all in all, there is plenty of nice skiing today.
Tonight and tomorrow night grooming will focus on race courses with one last system wide grooming either Sunday evening or Monday morning depending on how the forecast develops.
Groomer’s choice for today is to come out and check out the course inspection.
