March 25th Grooming Report
2024-2025 Ositos Team!
Congratulations to this fantastic youth group who’ve pulled off another great season of Nordic skiing this year. The Ositos Program is a partnership between JHSC and Coombs Outdoors and allows Trail Creek to provide skiing opportunity for even more people each year. Thanks also to the great group of coaches that makes this all happen!
There’s plenty of skiing opportunity for you today at Trail Creek. Something that has not happened yet this year is going on; that being a report time temperature of 51º. Spring is definitely in the air today.
Today’s grooming began with a Husky journey through the woods, resetting classic tracks along the way. Moose Loop, Grunt, Moose Poop, and Beaver Ponds all received multiple passes. Grooming then shifted to the fields with most trails receiving multiple passes and fresh classic tracks.
Grooming in the fields is focusing on the upcoming International Spring Series races beginning on Friday with course inspection. The full schedule to the end of the season is available on the March 24th grooming report.
Groomer’s choice for today is keeping cool on Moose Loop.
