March 21st Grooming Report
2024-2025 JHSC Prep/Comp Team!
This fantastically fit looking bunch of high school age skiers is the official 2024-2025 JHSC team photo. They’ve had a great year, congratulations to all, keep on skiing in the years to come!
You can keep on skiing if you come out to Trail Creek today. We’ve received up to 6 inches of snow since yesterday’s grooming but the Husky has been hard at work today, crafting that fresh bounty into some great Nordic skiing. Temps have been relatively cool for late March which has contributed to today’s nice skiing.
The grooming route began with a skate/classic pass through all of the trails in the woods. Focus then shifted to making multiple passes on most field trails with fresh classic tracks being planted along the way. As of report time the temperature has warmed to 34º with calm conditions and mostly cloudy skies.
Significant snow is headed our way again with the forecast calling for 6-12 inches of snow by Saturday evening. Happy birthday Mom!
