January 25th Grooming Report
Perfect Bluebird Day!
Yes, it may only be a Tuesday but Tuesday’s can be amazing ski days just as well as any other day of the week. There is not a cloud in the sky with that perfect Wyoming blue from horizon to horizon, just a whiff of a breeze, and the temps have climbed into the low 20’s, it doesn’t get much better than that! If you were thinking about a ski today, don’t think any longer, just go do it.
The Husky was once again hard at it, visiting nearly every trail in our network. While the most common grooming format was to simply touch up the skate lanes, on the narrow sections in the woods and where there was a lot of practice pressure yesterday, classic tracks were also reset. The snow is firm and fast and should do whatever you need it to do.
You might see a few funky tracks on Homeward Bound, one of our property owners was doing a bit of elk management today. The tracks only affect a short section of the Homeward Bound.
Groomer’s choice for today is to enjoy the great sunshine while skiing around Moose Loop.
