February 19th Grooming Report--A Duvet of Snow?

February 19th Grooming Report

A Duvet of Snow?

We often speak of a ‘blanket’ of snow covering the landscape; today’s snowfall didn’t quite qualify as a ‘blanket’, but perhaps a duvet of snow? A Quilt? A Snuggie? Regardless of the type of bed covering, a pleasant 1+ inches of snow fell on Trail Creek last night, making for some very nice grooming, beautiful trails on a beautiful day.

In local sports news, local skier Lena Poduska has placed 11th in the international championships! This is a really amazing job; great work, Lena!

Today’s grooming was a single pass across most of the network, save for a few connectors here and there. Temperatures are already in the 20’s, so skiing should be eminently pleasant, well worth an afternoon visit.

Groomer’s choice is Woolsey Woods.
