This weekend’s racing is in tribute to local legend Johnny Curtis, a member of the JHSC Hall of Fame. You can check out more about Johnny Curtis at this hall of fame page.
Grooming for today’s race began last night with a wipe of the course with the Ginzu then very early this morning the Husky ventured forth on its maiden journey of the year, compacting all that fresh snow for the final day of racing. The Husky also had a little time to wander into the woods, setting Homeward and Outward Bound, Moose Poop, Beaver Ponds, Grunt, Animal Farm, and Olympic so recreational skiers have a little groomed snow to ski on as well.
The snow should be tapering off through the day. Look for system wide grooming to return Monday morning.
Groomer’s choice for today is to enjoy the race.
