Happy New Year!!!
December came and went very quick. The month started with some solid on snow training at Snow King and finally kicking the race season into gear with the Western Region FIS Open. WR FIS Open was the only race in the US in the month of December.
I want to use this opportunity to THANK all the volunteers who came and help with that extremely important event for ski racing. We proved everyone that safe ski racing events can be held.
With many races being pushed back to later times, we used most of December to work on progressions. Now with races starting to happen for all ages, we will shift our focus to race prep.
We are aware that some athletes did not received jackets and we are working on to get more jackets.
Let's all keep abiding by Covid protocols and have fun on the slopes.
