November 28th Grooming Report
A Warm 3 Inches!
As of 10:30 this morning the temperature was just a speck above freezing with a light breeze and a few flakes still falling from a solidly overcast sky. Overnight about 3 inches of very heavy snow dropped onto the trails of the Trail Creek Nordic network. These 3 inches however, were no problem for the Pisten Bully to deal with in an early morning grooming, continuing to improve upon are already quite nice early season conditions.
Today’s grooming was multiple passes with fresh classic tracks of the close field, Moose Loop, and Armin’s. All other major trails except for the East Fields and Mug’s Meadow’s received at least a single PB pass and Woolsey Woods received its first classic tracks of the year.
Time trials will be happening this afternoon in the close field so spectator opportunities would be good or you might have the woods to yourself if that was your preference.
Groomer’s choice for today is Woolsey Woods.
