February 19th Grooming Report
Snowy Cabin Edition!
Nothing to sneeze at! The 2025 official Snowy Cabin Picture may not be at the very top of the heap, but it definitely shows that the snow has been falling this year at Trail Creek. You can check out the snowy cabin yourself if you’re lucky enough to come out for a ski at Trail Creek today. The Husky was once again hard at it this morning, beginning the circuit travelling through the woods. The trails have finally been widened out to where they were before the last major round of snow and are skiing nicely. Today’s single pass through the woods set fresh classic tracks almost everywhere.
Grooming then switched to the fields with multiple passes on almost all trails. In addition, all the funky stuff received a refresh in anticipation of a busy practice session this afternoon. As of report time, the temp is 31ºF with light breezes and mostly cloudy skies. A pretty good number of skiers have been enjoying the snow so far today; it is another great day for a Nordic ski!
