March 4th Grooming Report
Snowstorm Inbound
This is turning into a truly bounteous winter, with yet another significant snowstorm on its way today and tonight. Conditions at Trail Creek are quite nice at the moment, but may be quite powdery come the afternoon, so consider heading up for a midday, ski, instead, and beat the weather.
Today’s grooming was a single pass across most trails, with most of the close fields getting a second pass as needed. It seemed like there were Elk and Moose running everywhere; one poor moose encountered me three times in three completely different places! Perhaps the snowstorm has them antsy, if they’ve smelled it coming.
Groomer’s choice is Olympic.
