February 5th Grooming Report
Dumping!
Once again Trail Creek is being blessed with an abundance of snow; trees, moose, and trails are all being rapidly covered by the steadily falling bounty. If it seems like we’ve been getting quite a bit lately, we have with our nearest snow reporting station Phillips Bench moving up to 97% of normal as of yesterday.
Today’s Pisten Bully grooming covered almost every trail with both classic and skate passes, however, conditions are a bit rustic and soft as about 4 inches fell during grooming with amounts approaching around 10 inches in the past 24 hours.
The high school racers are skiing in Lander today so traffic at Trail Creek this afternoon should be a little lighter than usual for a Friday afternoon.
Groomer’s choice for today is a snowy tour through Woosley Woods.
