February 1st Grooming Report
Just a Great Sunny Day to Ski!
While there may have been a bit of a brisk start to the day, the sun is shining, the temps are climbing, and the snow is very nice, all the makings are in place for a great Nordic Ski, and if you are lucky enough to have time for that ski, Trail Creek would be a great place to go.
While Mondays can be quite busy, today’s itinerary is slightly less busy than usual as the racers from the weekend’s race in Bozeman have the day off. Plenty of our younger skiers will be onsite but there should be room for all. Be sure to check out yesterday’s results, our racers had a great day with lots of podium finishes.
What today’s skiers will discover is that almost every trail has received fresh Pisten Bully grooming. The fields have received both classic and skate passes with the woods trails all receiving at least one pass with some sections receiving double passes; some woods trails received skate only grooming while others received a classic track pass depending on needs. All of the special practice features around the fields also got a fresh buff today. The skate lanes have firmed nicely, the classic tracks are nice and crisp, it’s simply a great day to ski.
