November 29th Grooming Report
Soak Up the Sun!
It’s an awesome day to get out on your Nordic skis and soak up a bit of the endless sunshine beaming down on Trail Creek. The seemingly endless mantra of cool nights followed by days with highs just below freezing is once again happening today. We do have a chance of snow showers for Monday night; the National Weather Service forecast has been dancing all over the place with precip chances ranging from 30% to actually 80% as of report time. Amounts aren’t supposed to be huge, but an inch can make for some great skiing.
Today’s grooming was basically a best line Pisten Bully pass on pretty much every trail recently groomed. No classic tracks were reset today although you will find some decent ones in the close field and on Armin’s. The snow is quite firm and could definitely use a bit of a refresh, but all in all skiing should work fine.
Groomer’s choice for today is to check out the sunny recently set and skiing quite nicely, lower inner loop of the close field (starting by Beaver Pond Gate).
