February 15th Grooming Report
Top of the Podium!
Our very own Elijah Weenig won the 10 K skate race yesterday in Soldier Hollow yesterday and the good news has continued today with lots of great finishes. Check out all the results at Summit Timing’s website. Thanks to the Weenig’s for the image!
Noon conditions at Trail Creek are -5ºC/23ºF with a light breeze and moderate snowfall. Another winter storm warning is in effect with a forecast of up to eight inches. Overnight about 2 inches has fallen.
Today’s grooming was an initial Pisten Bully skate/classic pass of almost every trail followed by Pisten Bully skate grooming in the close woods and fields. The Ginzu was able to do a nice job of buffing out the rest of the skate lanes in the far woods with the result being that wherever you go you should find some nice skiing, as long as the snow doesn’t get too deep.
Groomer’s choice for today is a long ski through the woods.
