February 2nd Grooming Report
Superbowl Sunday!
Sunday morning has been abnormally busy today, perhaps skiers taking preemptive action in anticipation of really good Superbowl parties to come? Way to go skiers!
It is quite balmy today at Trail Creek with temps warming overnight to the low 40’s early this morning. As the morning has progressed the temperature has begun to drop with the thermometer reading 3ºC/38ºF as of 11:45 AM. Conditions were soft enough today that the Ginzu groomer was able to do a pretty nice job of buffing out the skate lanes which appear to be skiing very nicely. The classic tracks are mostly still quite distinct, if a little glazed, but are also skiing pretty well. They were just too firm for the Ginzu to be able to reset today.
There’s still time for you to earn that awesome Superbowl party today, grab you skis and make a lap or two at Trail Creek today.
On another note, there were an amazing amount of top ten finishes yesterday by our skier in West Yellowstone; you can check it out here.
Groomer’s choice for today is Moose Loop.
