Trail Creek Grooming Report
A Very Auspicious Beginning!
Your future is nothing but bright if a Nordic adventure at Trail Creek is part of your plans; Welcome Back!
The awesome Thanksgiving storm has dumped up to two feet of snow across our trails and while maneuvering snow machines through all the fresh snow with difficulty yesterday to prepare for grooming to commence, the decision was made to simply pull out our Pisten Bully and have at.
Of course trails will be a bit on the brushy side until we get some more significant snow, but for an opener things are pretty good. The close field was worked extensively, complete with classic tracks although they are a bit on the thin side. A foray into the woods was also on the agenda with initial passes on most of the private property except for Woolsey Woods and Grunt.
Look for additional grooming mid-morning Sunday with today’s plan to provide additional full width grooming without classic tracks on all of the private property. Grooming on the National Forest will be a few days out yet.
Don’t forget to purchase your passes, with the early start this year there should be no problem getting great value out of your investment that not only helps insure great skiing but also provides support for all of our important Nordic programs.
Groomer’s choice for today is a couple of laps around all the groomed trails to refresh those Nordic memories.
