September Freeride Newsletter

Fall is here! JHSC Freeride has enjoyed a relatively quiet month of skate camps and preparation for the coming winter season. Registration went great! We’ve got an all time record ski enrollment for the coming season with big numbers across all age groups. I’m very excited to see what these kids get done on snow for the season! Thanks to all who registered and for hanging tight on the waitlist during the hiring process. At the time of writing we still have availability for the following teams:

  • Snowboard Shredders: 4
  • Ski Competition: 1
  • Ski Progression Plus: 1

Jackson Skatepark Reopening!

The new and improved Jackson Skatepark re-opened this month, our kids and staff took full advantage and rolled out a couple bonus skate camps for late August.

“We’ve had a great couple of weeks finishing out what’s been our biggest summer to date for skate camps. It’s been great working with diverse ages and skill levels. Whether you’re working on your 360’s and kick flips or just learning how to push, everyone in our camps has been progressing. It’s been great getting back to our classic camp days hitting Driggs/Alpine in the morning and finishing out the days at the new Jackson park. Skateboarding is rad and so are these kids!” - Toby Koekkoek, Skate Coach
