March 3rd Grooming Report
Snowy Cabin Edition
Winter just doesn’t quite want to leave just yet, but the time has come! The rankings might have to change at some point with the ongoing snow accumulation, but at present, the Department of Snowy Cabin Analysis would put 2023 in the top 3 of all snowy cabins, edged out by only 2019 and 2017!
As for today, the snow was falling and the wind was blowing at Trail Creek, but the Husky forged on regardless. All the woods received grooming, with double passes on Moose Loop, Homesite, Animal Farm, Déjà vu, and Mug’s Meadow. All the fields trails also were groomed (as well as all four stadiums), but with some pretty major wind, expect some serious drifting and for the classic tracks to fill in pretty fast. Fortunately, at 24 degrees it’s not too chilly, but it might be wise to head for the woods ASAP.
Groomer’s choice is Mug’s Meadow.
