March 25th Grooming Report
Snow!
No, this is not today at Trail Creek, but snow and lots of it is one of the things that makes Trail Creek such a special place. The images above are from some of the major dumps throughout the years; it’s kind of fun to think back to the cold dark days of winter when a leaden sky over the western ridge tops turns into a maelstrom of white, draping the forest in a pristine new coat.
Today at Trail Creek you will find a bit of that delightful fresh frozen form of water but nothing on the order of the images above. Grooming once again happened last night with the Ginzu groomer resetting all classic tracks and skate lanes with mostly positive results. It is forecast to cloud up this afternoon with temps staying in the 30’s so skiing should remain pretty good throughout the day.
