March 22nd Grooming Report
2024-2025 JHSC Junior Team!
It was a major feat to get these skiers to stop long enough for a picture, but above are many of the Junior Team skiers from this year. Thanks to Coaches George and Kirsys and the rest of the coaching crew for riding herd on this group through the season!
Looking to Trail Creek today, it’s perhaps a bit of a rodeo in the fields today with conditions as of report time being heavy snow and moderately strong winds. The woods however, are in their usual sublime snowy day condition.
Today’s grooming began with a Husky journey through those woods with classic tracks being set along the way. Every trail received some attention with Olympic, Homesite, Nose Bleed, and Armin’s all receiving multiple passes. Grooming then shifted to the fields. While most every trail received at least a skate/classic pass today, not much diesel fuel was invested in the venture due to the considerable drifting occurring. Skiing will be lovely in the woods today and quite rustic in the fields.
Groomer’s choice for today is to head to the woods.
