March 1st Grooming Report

Giving the Husky a Good Workout

The Husky received a good workout today, as trails had once again been wiped clean by buckets of falling snow. Fortunately, the whiteout conditions from yesterday had passed, and the groomer was a little less likely to fall off the edge today! While there are still some rough edges on multiple pass areas due to the soft snow, for the most part things are looking quite nice, and should make for great skiing.

In other news, the Lollipoppers have been having a great time relatively recently! They made it all the way back to Déjà Vu, exploring the cabin there, which is quite the voyage for little legs. Good job, coaches, and thanks to Coach Cathy for sharing the photos!

Today’s grooming was single passes on mostly everything, with double passes on Woolsey Woods, Moose Loop, Animal Farm, Black Hole, Boiler, and the Old Pass Road Loop. Whew! Tomorrow the focus will be on cleaning up some of the rough edges and grooming out the connectors, some of which were skipped for now.

Groomer’s choice is Black Hole/Boiler.
