January 20th Grooming Report--Snow?!

January 20th Grooming Report

Snow?!

The forecast is still calling for around 5 inches in the next day or so at Trail Creek and while the sky is looking promising in the image above, only a few flakes have fallen so far.  Hopefully we’ll get our five inches so we’ll be able to put a fresh face on all of our ski trails.

Even without a fresh facing of snow, skiing is still happening in a great way.  Our new Husky was once again out reconditioning our hard working snow, creating a quite pristine surface for your skis to slide on.  Pretty much every trail received skate grooming today with classic tracks being reset on the narrower woods trails.  In order to groom the full width of the woods trails, some of the classic tracks were moved to the other side today.

As of report time a good crowd was just getting going with the Nordic Master class.  Also Coach Kathy reported that she got 17 Lolli’s all the way out and down Faceplant yesterday, what an accomplishment!

Groomer’s choice for today is the East Field Woods.
