January 10th Grooming Report
Grunting Lollipoppers!
Thanks to Coach Kathy for sending in an image of the Lollipoppers conquering Grunt from yesterday’s practice. It is fun to watch the little tracks spread further and further through the woods as the season progresses. Grunt is an amazing conquest, way to go Lollipoppers!
Also thanks to Coach Kirsys for some images from the recent Teton Ridge Classic. Many of our skiers made a great showing in the long running event over the hill, one of the events in the Wydaho Nordic Race Series which also includes our Betty Woolsey Classic and upcoming Moose Chase.
Overnight at Trail Creek we received around a half foot of snow which the Husky has mostly turned into some nice skiing conditions. While the sun did peak out for a while this morning, it looks like another half foot might be on the way beginning this afternoon.
Today’s grooming covered most every trail with double passes in the fields, Woolsey Woods, and Moose Loop. The snow was soft and deep enough today that only single classic tracks were placed, but they were placed everywhere. Skaters were doing well today and temps are very moderate, being just above freezing.
Groomer’s choice for today is Woolsey Woods.
