USASA Big Mountain West Series; Woodward, Park City, February 26-27, 2022

It was an amazing weekend down in Utah for the Freeride Program. We attended two half pipe competitions and a rail jam at Woodward at Park City.

Here are some highlights and results:

  • Ace Emery traveled to train on bigger jumps and was spinning off the big line by the end of the trip
  • Taz McBride had a career-best 4th place finish in rail jam
  • Dean Hilke did his first backflip in the park
  • Many JHSC athletes hit and spun the biggest jumps of their lives
  • Bennet Hultman has only been snowboarding for four months and was straight airing the big jumps! (it was very impressive to see Bennett take full charge in his first competition in the pipe and place 4th!)
