The Freeride program is now on snow, training at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort during the week and on weekends. Thank you to the crew who came and helped us stack wood at The Alpenhof. Great work!

Early Season Targhee Training Trip

We got out early for a quick trip to Targhee on it's opening weekend this year.  With a crew of skiers and snowboarders  we packed the van and headed over Teton Pass to slide around in some of that early season pow. It was a sunny day with fresh snow and all the athletes seemed extra stoked to be getting a few early season laps in.

Ripping Targhee with the Jackson Hole Freeride Program

Upper mountain is open, riders are on snow, and the training is gooooood!

A nice surprise unfolded on opening weekend at Jackson Hole. None other than legendary snowboarder Travis Rice and pro Jackson Hole, Arbor Snowboards and Northface rider Mark Carter decided to spend the morning ripping laps on Thunder chair with a coupe lucky Freeride team riders. Travis and Mark took them to some secret stashes, showed them some lines, high fived them when they stomped a line and encouraged them with tips when they fell. Truly a special moment for these young rippers. Jake Johnson and Neo Emery rode strong and drew some of the loudest cheers from the crew with a couple of hefty airs and tumbles in the deep pow from opening weekend. Thanks Travis and Mark!
