February 26th Grooming Report

Off to State!

The season has flown by and today most of our high school age racers are off to Cody for the 2020 Wyoming High School Nordic Skiing Championships.  Racing is scheduled for Friday and Saturday but for the championship the team takes an extra day.  Word has it that Pahaska is an amazing place to visit on the east side of Yellowstone and would make a great outing if you were looking for a little mid-winter adventure.

If your mid-winter adventure needs to be closer to home, a Nordic ski at Trail Creek today would be a great option.  11:30 conditions are very light snow fall under a very thin overcast with mostly calm winds and a temperature of -10ºC/14ºF.

Today’s grooming was an initial pass through most major trails with the Pisten Bully.  The woods trails received a new classic track along the way while the fields received best line skate grooming.  The Ginzu did some subsequent passes with the net result being nice classic tracks and skate lanes pretty much everywhere.

Groomer’s choice for today is Cle’s Climb.
