February 14th Grooming Report--Patience Rewarded

February 14th Grooming Report

Patience Rewarded

The whole Valley has been waiting patiently for our next snowstorm, and today, that patience has been rewarded. Several inches of snow have fallen across our beloved trails, refreshing and rejuvenating them to a beautiful smooth glide. The snow was still falling at the conclusion of grooming today, so there may be an inch or two of snow on the trails, but all in all, it should be a great ski. Today’s grooming was single passes on almost all trails, with double passes on Moose Loop, Black Hole/Boiler, Animal Farm, Olympic, and Outward/Homeward Bound.

Coach Libby and the Lollipoppers were enjoying the clear skies over the last few days, and having a great time learning how to ski better than ever, even exploring to the top of Suicide! Thanks, Libby, for sharing these awesome photos!

Meanwhile, Jackson ski efforts have gone international! Will Wicherski sent this great photo of Lena from their current location in Finland! Tomorrow they move on to easily-pronounceable Jyväskylä, where the world cup will be taking place. Good luck, Lena! And thanks to Will for the photo!

Groomer’s choice for today is Moose Loop.
