December 5th Grooming Report

Making the Most of It!

While the snow has been a bit hesitant to grace our trails with its fluffy white abundance so far this winter, we’re making the most of it at Trail Creek with lots of trimming and shoveling snow, and a bit of grooming.  If you have time to come on out for a ski today you will discover that about 80% of our network has received a gentle pass with the Ginzu Groomer today.  There is definitely lots of stuff sticking through the snow, but as all the youth program ski tracks show, it is more than possible to get a great workout at Trail Creek today.
After a misty foggy start to the day, the sun is shining brilliantly, the winds are calm, and the really good news is that the hourly forecast predicts around 5 inches in a 48 hour period beginning around 10 PM Saturday.

Make sure to note on your calendar that the Betty Woolsey Race is just around the corner on Saturday January 14th in conjunction with the IMD opener this year.

Groomer’s choice for today is a classic cruise through the woods.
