December 24th Grooming Report
2019 Betty Woolsey!
The biggest couple of inches you’ve ever seen fell overnight, turning into a foot plus in many areas of our trail network. Conditions as of 10:45 AM were a few snow showers were still occurring with calm winds and a temperature of -1ºC/30ºF.

Regulars will note that the close field routing as been altered substantially with the goal of sticking to the theme of a nice gentle classic cruise through woods and meadows. While speeders will be more than able to show off their speed, if you just want to have fun, this race is for you as well.
Conditions for Saturday’s 10 AM start look to be perfect for a classic race with clear skies and a 10ºF temperature.
Today’s grooming was multiple passes with the Pisten Bully around the course with double classic tracks in the fields and on Armin’s. You will find some areas with a berm separating the classic and skate lanes and some of the tracks have received around three inches since grooming began. However, it is one of those really great days to be enjoying a ski, just like the IMD skiers were doing with their early morning practice today.
Groomer’s choice for today is to ski the Betty Woolsey.
