December 20th Grooming Report
Déjà vu, it’s a Pisten Bully at Trail Creek Today!
No, that’s not an archival photograph, today at Trail Creek a Pisten Bully Paana has been out grooming. Many thanks go out to Valley Landscape Service and Dan Tolson for coming through with some grooming for us in the short term. It looks like the Pisten Bully will be covering our grooming up through the upcoming Betty Woolsey Classic Race on Monday.
News on our Husky is that Prinoth is trying their hardest to cover for this unfortunate breakdown of our Husky. They are helping with the current grooming and intend to deliver a loaner machine sometime in the very near future to cover our grooming operations until our Husky has been returned to service. All in all, lots of pretty good news today.
So far the storm has produced about three inches of snow with light snowfall happening at report time. Today’s grooming and what will be happening through the rest of the week is that we will be focusing on the Betty Woolsey Course which can be viewed on the event page. The Pisten Bully will be making a single pass of the course each day between now and race day except for Christmas which is currently forecast to be a light snow day which our Ginzu can handle. The current plan calls for extensive Pisten Bully grooming very early morning Monday before the Betty Woolsey Race.
Again we would like to apologize for any inconvenience our unfortunate equipment issue has caused; hopefully things will be back to nearly normal in the very near future.
Groomer’s choice for today is the Betty Woolsey Course.
