Dryland
Recap: The summer strength & conditioning program is entering the home stretch with our second or three skills quest fitness tests taking place Thursday the 5th. Athletes have spent the summer prep period building a muscular and metabolic base to support more powerful sport specific training this fall. The FIS & U16 teams will see peak intensity mid October and will taper off prior to our annual Colorado on snow camp. This years programing saw a wide variety of activities from our regular strength sessions in the gym, yoga at the rec. center, to our valleys great mountain biking and hiking trails. Athlete attendance has grown since last years start to year round training.
U14 dryland is starting on September 3rd
We are running our year round dryland from Monday to Friday for FIS and U16 athletes. Time for dryland is 4:15pm until 6:15pm
U14's will start with three days a week Dryland on September 3rd (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:15-6:15)
U12's will start on September 24th (Tuesday, Thursday 4:30-6:00)
U10's will start on October 9th (Wednesday, Friday 4:30-6:00)
Thursday, November 5th we are having our second Skills Quest Fitness Test
