Athletes must arrive on Friday, first day on skis will be Saturday and last day will be on Thursday. Families are responsible for transportation to and from Mt. Hood, but we will be able to pick up athletes at Portland airport (on Friday they will have to arrive at the airport before 6pm and on Thursday they will have to depart after 3pm).

Camp includes six days of coaching on and off the hill, lift tickets, lane fees, room and board (Camp 3 and 4), transportation from Collins Lake Resort to the mountain.

First day on snow we will free ski with drills, after that we will have SL and GS courses set up every day.
In the afternoons, we will do video analyses as well as physical conditioning.

We will be able to transport athlete’s equipment from Jackson to Mt. Hood and back.
We will also bring basic tuning equipment (Tables, files, irons, etc.)
We usually do some mountain biking as part of afternoon physical conditioning and would be great if all athletes could have access to mountain bikes while out there.

To reserve a spot we need to collect a deposit of $500 by May 15th.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me @ bzagar@jhskiclub.org

Summer Physical Conditioning

Dryland for U16 and FIS athletes is starting on May 18th. Until the school is is session, dryland will be at 4pm and when school is out for summer break we will move trainings to mornings. This is great opportunity to get in shape for ski season.

Farewell to stellar athletes

As we transition to new season, we would like to recognize athletes that left a big mark with Alpine program and are moving on in their careers.
After years of commitment and hard work with JHSC, FIS athletes Martin Wilcox (Montana State), Paige Doyle (St. Lawrence), Oliver Parazette (University of Utah), Bridger Harrison (Plymouth State) and Annaliese Fleck (Colby College) are transferring to College skiing.
After a Post Graduate season with JHSC FIS athletes Sage Newman, Isabella Foos, Mitchell Sampson, Dylan Thomas, Carter Loucheim, Jack Schaede, Sam Hislop and Wyatt Hall are all moving on to Colleges around the nation.
Thank you for all the years with the club and good luck in your future endeavors!!!

Spring Clean Up

Join us Thursday May 13th at 3:30 at the Calico Restaurant parking lot to help clean up our section of the highway. Every spring the JHSC uses this as an opportunity to give back to our community.  We'll provide trash bags and treats, we just need you!  Please bring gloves and wear appropriate clothing.  We should be done by 5:00.
