Mark Barron

Mark, a resident of Jackson Hole since 1975, brings a wealth of community leadership and business experience to the Board of Directors. Originally from Massachusetts, Mark established himself in Jackson through his successful career in the linen supply and dry cleaning industry. He owned High County Linen Service from 1981 – 2022 and founded Blue Spruce Cleaners in 1994, where his daughter Mary has taken on the lead in its management and ownership.

Mark's dedication to community service is evident through his extensive involvement on local non-profit and state boards. Serving as the mayor of Jackson for 12 years and as a county commissioner for 4 years, Mark was recognized for being personally accessible and leading through efficient and
accountable delivery of services.

Mark's connection to the Jackson Hole Ski Club runs deep, as both of his children, Mary and Wes, were alpine ski racers. Wes, in particular, not only participated in the club for over a decade but also discovered his passion for alpine race coaching during his tenure there.

Mark is married to Ruth Ann Petroff, and together they continue to be active members of the Jackson community. Mark is enthusiastic about supporting the mission of the Jackson Hole Ski Club in promoting youth development and fostering a love for skiing among members.
