Erica Bowditch

I am a Jackson local who has always loved skiing, even at a young age. Growing up I was a part of the Freeride Program for five years. For the last two years I have gone to Mt. Hood, Oregon for more skiing after the mountain closes here. Other than skiing I am also interested in climbing, hat and clothing design, and surfing.

Personal Philosophy or Statement:

I coach for two main reasons. First, I love coaching! Secondly, I want to be the coach that I wish I had when I was growing up in the program. I care about keeping engagement high while avoiding burnout. Skiing is a great outlet creatively and emotionally. While coaching, I try to challenge myself to help improve my personal skiing and to show that it is okay to push yourself even when it might be uncomfortable. My top goal for this season is to have fun!
