A transplant from Louisiana, Brandon was raised locally in Jackson since 1988. He began skiing and snowboarding at the local resorts at the age of 8. As an adolescent athlete, Brandon pitched on Babe Ruth/American Legion Baseball teams, skied competitively for the Jackson Hole High School Ski Team, and was quarterback and team captain of the JHHS football team.
Brandon received a scholarship to Graceland University in Lamoni, IA, to play baseball and football, where he became a member of both varsity teams. He transferred to the University of Wyoming in 2000 and received a degree in Economics and Business in 2002.
During his time in college, Brandon spent a summer in New York as an analyst intern for Munn Bernard & Associates, eventually moving to New York after graduation to work for the Milstein family (Ogden Cap Properties) and undertaking responsibilities in property management and commercial leasing. Shortly thereafter, Brandon married his college sweetheart, Katrina Weiss, and moved back to Jackson where he worked with local developers before starting his own construction business and discovering his passion for entrepreneurship.
As local entrepreneurs, Brandon and Katrina are the proud owners of Westside Wine & Spirits, and partners of Aspens Market, Pearl Street Market, Sudachi, and Suda Izakaya. Additionally, Brandon manages their family office and other local commercial real estate holdings. Brandon and Katrina are also 1/3 of the founding team for Jackson Hole Food and Wine, a local nonprofit that hosts two seasonal food and wine festivals a year to raise money for other local charities. Brandon and Katrina have three children, who are all active in the JHSC Alpine Program.
