Travis Rice, one of the most versatile and accomplished snowboarders in the world, began his career riding for the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club. In 2001, at the age of eighteen and without a sponsor, Rice entered his first major competition. His bold performance garnered serious recognition from the snowboard community and led to his memorable opening segment in the classic snowboard film, Transcendence. Rice is a three-time X Games gold medalist and has won every major snowboard contest to date. Known as the pioneer of big mountain backcountry freestyle, Rice has earned the coveted Ride of the Year title from both TransWorld Snowboarding and Snowboarder magazines. As a co-founder of Brain Farm Digital Cinema, Rice has channeled his passion for the mountains and the art of snowboarding into the production of some of the highest-selling snowboard films to date. In 2012, Rice founded his own event, Ultra Natural, which is fast becoming one of the most prestigious events in the world of snowboarding.
