Two-time Olympian and daughter to Olympic gold medalist, Pepi Stiegler, Resi Stiegler was born and grew up in prime ski country, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Lienz, Austria. Skiing by age two and racing for the Jackson Hole Ski Club by six, Stiegler has represented the United States at every level of alpine ski racing: Topolino, Whistler Cup, Junior Worlds, World Cup, World Championships, and the Olympics. She’s won Junior World’s medals, US titles, and has stood on the World Cup podium. Stiegler made her Olympic debut at the 2006 Winter Games in Torino, Italy, placing 11th in the combined and 12th in the slalom. After missing out on the 2010 Olympics due to injury, Stiegler launched an all-out attack on the 2013-2014 World Cup season to qualify for the 2014 Winter Games. Hometown heroine and JHSC alum, Resi Stiegler, will be racing slalom in the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
