Hello all, it's me, Collin! Your local Freeride Program Director!
I grew up in suburban Detroit and found my love of skiing lapping the tow-rope terrain parks of Alpine Valley Ski Area. I completed my undergraduate degree at Northern Michigan University, where I discovered soft snow in the lake-effect belts of the Upper Peninsula. During school I spent 2 summers skiing on Mt. Hood and quickly realized I was not going to work in an office after graduation. I moved to Jackson "for a gap season" in 2018 and have now spent the last 6 seasons coaching with JHSC Freeride. I love skiing, no matter the conditions, and am excited to share this love with the next generation of freeskiers and snowboarders.

Personal Philosophy
I coach because I want to share the love of skiing with others. Coaching provides an opportunity to inspire athletes to be their best and to nurture a life-long love for the sport. I’m very excited for the opportunity to work with such a great program, and such great athletes. In addition to athlete progression, I hope to improve my own skiing and coaching skills. At the end of the day, skiing is supposed to be fun, so let's keep it that way!
