About the Sean Nurse Memorial Race

Sean Nurse was born and raised here in Jackson, WY, with strong family ties to skiing and our community ski resorts. Sean was a high performing multi-sport athlete who enjoyed all of the challenges that sport can provide. His friends say that he was outgoing, charismatic, and always easy to talk to. Sean excelled both on the field of sport and in the classroom, he carried a 4.0 and was headed to ski race for Dartmouth College. This race celebrates his life and honors his spirit, a talented alpine skier who died by suicide in 1990.
