Freeski and Snowboard REC Team

For ages 12-18

The REC TEAM is JHSC's next step for athletes graduating from the DEVO TEAM, or a starting point for new athletes aged 12-18 interested in the disciplines of competitive Freeskiing and Snowboarding. The REC TEAM emphasizes JHSC's core values of FUN, COMMITMENT and TEAMWORK.

REC TEAM athletes will build upon skill foundations with advanced training in a recreational and fun environment. REC TEAM athletes must exhibit a medium to high level of dedication to their personal riding and are required to compete in at least one local competition (WNL and/or USASA and/or IFSA).

USASA and IFSA certified Freeride Program coaches will mentor and coach REC TEAM athletes during weekly training and competition.  All training is designed around USSA's Long Term Athlete Development Matrix
