Peter Ashley's Nordic career spans six decades: Junior Nationals (1965-69), NCAA titles with the University of Colorado, and US Ski Team coaching roles, including the first US Junior National Coach (1978) and Head Women's Coach (mid-1980s, Sarajevo ’84 and World Championships). Later led Coaches’ Education, helping introduce skating technique, and spent 20+ years as VP of Nordic Sales at Fischer Sports. Since retiring in 2015, he has volunteered as Chair of the National Nordic Foundation.
