Scotty Veenis

Assistant FIS Coach

Scott Veenis grew up in Massanutten, Virginia, and has been a ski coach for over 15 years. During his ski racing career, he was a four-time NCAA Championship qualifier, a three-time All-American, Skier of the Year for Park City’s ski team, and the NCAA Giant Slalom National Champion for the University of Utah.

Veenis went on to coach for the U.S. Men’s Ski Team, working with athletes at both the Sochi and PyeongChang Olympic Games. He spent 13 years as the U.S. Ski Team’s speed coach, coaching on the World Cup circuit. His commitment to athlete development and passion for the sport continue to inspire the next generation of ski racers.
