Ian Peterson
About Ian
Ian grew up in rural Massachusetts, and cut his teeth making turns on an icy 300' hill. He was introduced to backcountry skiing and climbing in the White Mountains, and began guiding while in college. He has lived and worked in Colorado, the North Cascades, the Desert Southwest, and the Alaska Range, but now calls Victor Idaho home. Ian works full time as a guide in the winter and summer, and spends his shoulder seasons working on Whitebark Pine Conservation projects. When he's not out in the hills, Ian can be found cooking a tasty meal with his partner, or sitting on the couch with his nose in a book.
