Coach Bio:

Born in Jackson, raised at JHMR. I fell in love with skiing at a young age watching TGR and Warren Miller movies and wanted nothing more than having a shot at being a professional freeskier. At age 27 I accomplished that with a major win on the freeskiing comp circuit and became a somebody overnight. I carried that momentum throughout the world for the next few years living my childhood dream from the top of podiums to the top of Alaska peaks filming for the big screen. I was inspired from a young age by legends from the past and am in a prime position to inspire the next crop of legends with my personal experience traveling the world on skis and navigating the ski industry.

-2014 SFS Bigsky Championship 1st place

-2016 Freeskiing World Tour 1st place

-2014, 2016 Dicks Ditch Banked Slalom 1st Place Pro Class

-2 appearances in Kings and Queens of Corbets

Personal philosophy: 

I overcame a shattered femur at age 20 with the help of a relentlessly positive attitude and a success obsessed attitude. I had to have success in the ski industry. I wanted to win at any cost having been told by my Dr. that I would never ski hard again. My success in the skiing world hugely depended on my mind-state which is something I preach with the kids I coach. Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t - you’re right.
